Open Studio Access and mentoring
for Printmakers
Talkingleaves Studio offers Open Studio Access for printmakers who are looking for a space to work outside of their own studio or looking for print mentoring to learn valuable Print, Paper, Ink Woodcut, and other print techniques from a master printer.

Open Studio sessions provide access to a working printmaking environment where artists can focus on carving, preparing blocks, printing, and developing new work. The goal is to create a quiet and supportive space for artists who want time to work independently while still being part of a small creative community.

Access is intentionally limited to 1-4 artists per session to keep the studio comfortable and focused.

What Open Studio Includes
Access to the Talkingleaves printmaking studio

Workspace for carving, printing, and preparing blocks

Use of studio tables, work surfaces, and carving tools

Basic newsprint papers and inks

A 40X70 takach etching press, 20x40 Charles brand etching press, 5x8 Adana tabletop letterpress, 11x16 showcard letterpress


A quiet working environment for independent printmaking

Schedule
Open Studio is available for day access during the spring, summer, and fall seasons.

Fee
$40 per visit

Who This Is For
This program is best suited for artists who already have experience with printmaking and are comfortable working independently in a shared studio environment.
